We’re looking for a digitally savvy marketer to join our team in the role of Digital Marketing Specialist. This role is highly collaborative and acts as the liaison between our e-commerce, Specialty Retail, Marketing and Trade marketing teams to ensure a seamless digital customer experience across all channels. The position provides shared services and reports directly to the VP of Marketing. Candidates need to have a passion for all things digital and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
Digital Execution & Analysis
  • Support the development and lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns and programs that support our strategic objectives
  • Manage the promotional calendar 
  • Digital Campaigns - Perform day to day operational tasks for optimizing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Support, assist and collaborate with team members while sharing digital marketing best practices and insights
  • Develop digital marketing KPI’s and deliver post-campaign analytics.
  • Assess end user experiences and formulate/present recommended paths forward accordingly
Content Creation & Optimization
  • Create new digital content (across various platforms, e.g. website, eTail, eStore) as required and route for approvals
  • Optimize content based on brand strategy, customer reviews, customer feedback, etc.
  • Continual monitoring of digital content to ensure accuracy
  • Partner with all key stakeholders to build alignment and collaborate to design and deliver best in class digital solutions that drive sales while elevating our brands
  •  Execute CRM plan as per annual brand plans
  • Coordinate digital agency and vendor relationships
  • Maintain company Product Information Management (PIM) platform, ensuring content is accurate and up to date
E-Store
  • Creation and execution of a launch plan for an internal e-store
  • Day to day management of Nature’s Way eStore, including:
    • Content management
    • Sales data insights and actions
    • Customer reviews insights and actions
    • Demand generation plan and implementation
    • Collaborate with eTail Sales Manager on promotional planning and implementation
  •  Analyzing site performance alongside Agency-partner to identify opportunities to further enhance organic traffic performance to e-commerce store. 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a digital role
  • Proven e-commerce experience is favorable for this role
  • Background in marketing, specifically related to CPG considered an asset
  • Completion of a university degree with Business, Marketing or Public Relations focus and/or equivalent experience
  • The candidate must be a confident, polished writer who is organized, energetic, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communications skills to engage with external agencies & vendors
  • Proven experience making website updates following industry best practices (e.g. image compression/optimizations, SEO aware content changes)
  • Must possess strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience in digital marketing, promotions, SEO and Google Analytics
  • Experience utilizing or optimizing e-commerce site such as Shopify and magenta
  • Strong understanding of web analytic software with experience in tracking/analyzing the success of a site
  • Must be an analytical thinker, capable of driving metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement through process and results
  • Show personal initiative and demonstrate effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates team effectiveness, building internal partnerships, working with others, and shows respect to all team member
